Hilldale School is an academically accelerated, family-oriented, Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade private preparatory school nestled against San Bruno Mountain in Daly City. It is nonsectarian and co-educational, and is dedicated to the full development of the individual student in preparation for the challenges of higher education and life.

Our mission is to inspire and challenge each child to become a responsible, positive, self-disciplined individual who is a life-long learner and leader and to nurture, inspire, and challenge the unique academic, personal, and social growth of each child while instilling the values of respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and service to our community.

We seek to promote the enduring habits of intellectual curiosity, appreciation for the arts, physical fitness, international knowledge and understanding, environmental stewardship, and respect for self and others.

Habits of inquiry, independent thinking, and imagination are fostered through a rich and rigorous academic program with high expectations that challenges students to maximize their abilities.

The goal is for students to leave Hilldale strong in character, well prepared for further education, determined to fully develop their own gifts, and ready to share those gifts generously with the wider community.
